On February 21st and 22nd the surrounding mountains of The Valley of the Sun were coated with a very a large amount of snow. This was the most I have seen out here in my 25-years here. These photos were taken in the Eastmark residential development at the former site of the General Motors Proving Ground in southeastern Mesa near Queen Creek. Snow can be seen on the Superstition Mountains, McDowell Mountains as well as Four Peaks.
